A first edition of “You and Heredity”… You can find out if your musical ability or lack of…will be passed to your children!
I’ve opened up an etsy site called odd & co. !! Below are a few things that are up for sale.. I’ll be adding new things daily… come check it out!
I’ve always thought of what it would be like to dine here in the Four Seasons heyday. Jackie Kennedy lunching when she was a book editor, Philip Johnson in the Grill Room, gossip columnist Liz Smith, Andy Warhol… and the power lunches.. very Mad Menesque.
It was designed in 1959 by Philip Johnson for Mies van der Rohe’s landmark Seagram building on Park Avenue in Manhattan.
The furniture, tableware and objects will be offered at auction by Wright Auction House in an extraordinary one day event to take place in the original interior. Featuring approximately 500 lots, the sale will include works by Mies van der Rohe and Hans Wegner as well as custom designs by Philip Johnson and special-ordered Knoll furniture. The tableware and cookware designed by L. Garth and Ada Louise Huxtable will also be offered.
See you there!
This is long overdue.. countless times I’ve been asked about new york getaways. This is my favorite. It is owned by my friend Tim (an incredible designer) so you know every need is accounted for and every detail is thought out stylishly, of course.
It is located in hurley, new york – less than 2 hours from manhattan. It is so worth it! You can go for just a weekend or escape during the week to breathe that fresh air…re-claim your inner laura ingalls wilder or just revel in the solitude and relax.
It has a funky 70’s bohemian vibe – a huge vinyl collection with a great sound system, a breakfast porch, outdoor seating with a gas grill.. upstairs and downstairs sleeping areas, even a writing nook!
It’s very close to historic Kingston with it’s quaint stone houses, old dutch church and cemetery, a weekend farmer’s market.. what more could you ask for? Groovy ambiance included free of charge.
